This position is responsible for executing manufacturing and engineering process support activities for the production of amorphous silicon flat panel detectors. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Execution of manufacturing process operations in specified areas (Seal/Scribe) Prepares, calibrates and prepares in-house mechanical systems for sealing process Tracks LOTS through PROMIS, data entry, equipment calibration, and process qualification Support maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC) program. Communicates with engineers, supervisors and lead technician to resolve problems Follows safety and environmental processes Follows best manufacturing practices Identifies process and equipment related problems for improvement and reports to leadership Conducts minor troubleshooting on equipment Performs the proper housekeeping on equipment Identifies deviations from accepted practices Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 30 lbs on a regular basis Visual acuity and ability to focus on details Requires ability to work very flexible hours to accomplish goals Ability to work independently Experience working in a semiconductor fabrication facility Good written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Training in SPC (statistical process control) Experience with PROMIS Knowledge of Clean room Protocol When applying, please note that you saw the job posted on the NOVA Job Board.
