Belmont Redwood Shores School District

Belmont-Redwood Shores is a high-achieving school district educating a diverse community of students on the San Francisco peninsula. We serve approximately 4,000 students in seven schools, grades TK-8. Our teachers provide a strong common core standards-aligned instructional program. Every student receives instruction in the core subjects of language arts, history/social science, mathematics, and science. We have a robust physical education
program, as well as programs for health, wellness, and the arts.

The District is committed to continuous improvement, and our recent strategic plan directs our organization to (1) instill a mindset for learning, (2)
create a collaborative culture of learning, (3) sustain a learning environment that promotes a capacity for innovation, and (4) foster
responsible global citizenship. We are committed to serving every student in our district so that s/he/they can learn in a respectful setting,
access the curriculum, grow and be challenged, and successfully prepare for high school, college, and career.
