Bay Area Furniture Bank

Our Mission:

The mission of the Bay Area Furniture Bank (BAFB) is to recycle gently used furniture and provide it to individuals and families moving out of homelessness as well as to countless others desperately trying to make ends meet.

Who we are:

BAFB is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which distributes donated furniture to people who are rebuilding their lives. These are primarily low-income adults, of which over 80% are transitioning out of homelessness. We serve the full spectrum of ages, from children through adults in low-income families, to teens aging out of foster care, to seniors who need furnishings for themselves or for grandchildren that move in with them.  Our vision is for all San Francisco Bay Area families to live in furnished homes and to help relieve suffering, improve quality of life, strengthen the family unit and help build a better community. Our clients are children and adults in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

BAFB values:

Dedication, hard work, dependability, and the desire to succeed by supporting others in a team environment.

Location:

Sunnyvale, walking distance from the light rail.
