Avenidas is a highly regarded mid-peninsula non-profit organization that has been providing services and activities for older adults and caregivers since 1969.  The Avenidas mission is to promote the health, independence and well-being of its participants and clients, which number more than 7,500 annually, via innovative programs and compassionate staff.  The agency operates out of two locations: the Senior Center of Palo Alto and the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Senior Day Health Center, located in Mountain View. Our in-person reach is concentrated regionally throughout Northern Santa Clara and Southern San Mateo counties, but our ‘without walls’ offerings (phone consultations, distance learning, on-line community, etc.) know no bounds.
