This position will be located in either our Arlington, VA, Menlo Park, CA, or Princeton, NJ office, and will provide great visibility into SRI's various operating divisions and will serve as a strong basis for future career growth.  The selected candidate will initially focus on project mapping and conversion activities and post-implementation will serve as a technical subject matter expert for maintaining projects in the Costpoint ERP system and will work cross functionally with various finance departments. The Project Accountant will lead project setup kick-off meetings for new awards to identify contract specific invoicing, revenue, and reporting requirements. The Project Accountant will create the project structure and assign the related attributes in the system and maintain the setup as modifications are received until the contract comes to completion. The ideal candidate will be familiar with basic government contract types (Cost plus fixed fee, T&M, FFP, etc.)  particularly as they relate to billing and revenue and will collaborate with the Finance Operations team to develop a project structure that will meet the needs of the program. It is the responsibility of the Project Accountant to enforce the setup/system policies in order to remain compliant with key controls and maintain the integrity of the Costpoint financial data.
