Good Samaritan Preschool

The Good Samaritan Preschool program supports infants from 6 weeks through Pre-
Kindergarten children, and includes a K through 5th grade, nine-week, summer
program. The program is chartered as a non-profit ministry of the Good Samaritan
United Methodist Church in Cupertino, CA.

The Preschool has a developmental focus, delivered with a Christian philosophy. The Good Samaritan Preschool, believing that children are active learners, provides hands-on, developmentally appropriate,
programs that foster a child's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language and spiritual growth. Open-ended experiences, with an emphasis on discovery and the learning process, enable development of children's imaginations, reasoning skills, and self-confidence. The Preschool serves the community by offering a fun, secure, educational, and Christian environment for the children of Silicon Valley. Our goal is to spread the love of Jesus throughout our community to families that might not ordinarily be in contact with a church, as well as serving the families of our church
members. Our Preschool encourages and celebrates inclusion of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. Our Preschool is known for the ethnic and religious diversity of the children, for its ability to work with special needs children, and for its flexibility in handling family scheduling needs.

Preschool hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. The facility is licensed to handle 95 full-time-equivalent children, and currently has a staff of 20. The Preschool operates 12 months a year, with short seasonal/holiday closures.
