How do I create an employer profile?
If you are new to the NOVA Job Board, you will need to create an “Employer Profile.” At the top of the NOVA Job Board page, click the “Post a Job” link. A “CREATE EMPLOYER PROFILE” page will open, where you can enter your company information:
Your name and contact information will not be visible to candidates. However, your company name, logo (if added), company description, and links to your posted jobs will be visible to applicants. (Note: Please do not enter your job information in this page.)
What kind of jobs can I post?
The NOVA Job Board is for mid- to high-skill level jobs located within the SF Bay Area. When you submit a job for posting, you will receive an automated email notification from NOVA Business Services, informing you that your job will be reviewed by staff prior to posting.
How do I submit a job for posting?
If your job is appropriate for the NOVA Job Board, complete the online posting form. At the top of the NOVA Job Board page, click the “Post a Job” link. If you have not created an Employer Profile, you will be taken to the “CREATE EMPLOYER PROFILE” page. Otherwise, if you have created an employer profile, you will enter your email address and password, which will then take you to the “POST A JOB” page:
Enter your job information, and then click the “Preview” button. If you do not need to make edits, click the “Post” button. Please note it may take up to 48 hours for your job to become active on our site, as we review every job sent to us for approval. Once your job has been approved, you will receive an automated email notification informing you that your job has been posted and providing a direct link to your job posting so that you can modify the description, change the deadline date, deactivate the job (if you’ve filled the position) or delete the job. (Note: Deleting a job permanently removes it from our database.):
If your job is not a good fit for the NOVA Job Board, a NOVA Business Services staff person will contact you to discuss other resources.

Log into your account to see the status of each of your postings. There are four types of job statuses:
