AACI’s Family and Children program is looking for a full time, Bilingual Family Support Partner. We provide employees with flexible schedules, training, opportunity for professional growth, experienced clinical guidance, and a supportive environment with an onsite meditation room. We offer convenient freeway access, bagel Mondays, and excellent coffee! AACI pays 95% of benefit premiums for full time staff and 50% of dependent benefits. We are a community health organization serving the vulnerable ethnic communities in Santa Clara County.
The Bilingual Family Support Partner provides peer support to parent and family members of youth enrolled in AACI’s Family and Children programs. The Family Partner must have personal experience raising a child who has received either behavioral health services or human services. The family partner helps families to get the most out of services using their own personal and professional life experience to provide support to parents and caregivers as appropriate.
The ideal candidate:
· Is fluent in Spanish and English
· Is a parent or caregiver of a child who has received behavioral health or human services within the past 3 years
· Has knowledge around the Juvenile Probation Department, Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children Services
· Has a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance and a vehicle to travel for agency business
