Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Finance organization in either our Arlington, VA, Menlo Park, CA, or Princeton, NJ office.  The Accounts Receivable Manager will lead a team of AR analysts in a wide range of responsibilities including invoicing, collections, process improvements, and supporting internal reporting.  The ideal candidate will have experience in developing high performing teams, process re-engineering, and will enjoy working cross-functionally to achieve enterprise wide goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable team (6 - 7 employees)
  • Manage invoicing cycles and all related aspects to contract billings, including initial invoicing through closeout
  • Review and approve invoices to ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and company policy
  • Monitor unbilled balances and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Participate in project setup and maintenance process to ensure Costpoint will facilitate contractual billing requirements
  • Oversee the collections function and establish processes and procedures to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metric
  • Provide standard reporting and track results against KPIs
  • Support ad-hoc requests when needed

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with a minimum of 6 years of progressive responsibility or a high school diploma and 10+ years of experience
  • S. Citizenship required
  • Background in government contract accounting, including experience with CPXF, T&M, and FFP contract types required
  • Strong working knowledge of various government payment systems required
  • Hands-on experience with Costpoint required
  • Experience leading/managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, and resolve conflict
