The Computer Science Laboratory at SRI International is looking to hire a principal research engineer to conduct and lead research and development in the field of computer and network security, particularly critical infrastructure security. The successful candidate will actively participate in existing and new projects and work closely with government and commercial clients. The duties will also include development of prospects and proposals for new R&D projects. Some travel will be required to conferences, meetings, and project sites.
Master’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field. At least 15 years professional experience in engineering, technical project management, and research and development. Experience in work on government-funded projects required. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required.
