About the International Technology Team

The International Technology team is responsible for the architecture, engineering, implementation, support, and operations of international systems portfolio of Williams Sonoma brands like Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm, Mark & Graham & Rejuvenation in multiple channels like e-commerce, stores, franchises and wholesale.

We currently operate company-owned retail stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia and have franchise operated retail stores throughout the Middle East, Mexico, the Philippines, and South Korea. Wholesale partnerships in UK and Ireland support our UK based stores.

 

Overview of the Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel role

The International Technology Team is looking for a very talented and motivated Senior Product Manager to join our fast-moving Global Product team. The product manager will be tasked with innovating, designing and facilitating the agile implementation of product features to enhance the customer experience of our Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn Family and West Elm customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with various Business and IT eCommerce teams to facilitate and implement the eCommerce Roadmap including measuring feature effectiveness and value.
  • Partner with  Technical Project Managers to lead the execution of eCommerce projects for various WSI brands
  • Serve as primary liaison between Technology, Creative, UI and Business teams
  • Attend project meetings and provide status reports to the business team
  • Work with the Senior Management and Executive team to help define eCommerce strategy and roadmap
  • Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of daily project issues
  • Develop business requirements for new eCommerce enhancements, features and functionality
  • Educate Brand eCommerce teams on recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items
  • Develop high-level business requirements and detailed user stories
  • Recommend and facilitate cross-concept initiatives and features
  • Assists in definition and management of project scope and subsequent change requests
  • Assist in the definition and implementation of new processes as they relate to new features
  • Gather, track and report metrics and key performance indicators for new eCommerce features and functionality
  • Educate the business team on new application and processes related to platform and feature enhancements and ensure the team is equipped and trained appropriately
  • Evaluates alternative operational efficiencies and business process change
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing
  • Track and report on issues and solutions and escalates where appropriate
  • Provide support to Business and IT eCommerce teams where necessary
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephone

 

Criteria

  • 5+ years in product management or business analysis roles
  • Bachelor's degree in computers, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within Scrum or other Agile environments
  • Deep experience in order management systems, eCommerce business operations, and supply chain network performance metrics
  • Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale Supply Chain and eCommerce projects from vision through implementation.
  • Ability to interface with business as well as technology teams
  • You have a proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization.
  • You have stellar communication skills and an uncanny ability to lead and influence others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated the ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping project releases on time and on budget
  • Strong drive towards execution; can-do type of person
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
