Academy of Art University seeks a full-time PeopleSoft Developer. This is a critical role supporting the University's enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications. The Developer will participate in PS analysis, design, testing, documentation, modification and implementation and serve as a point of contact for production support. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Determine business and reporting requirements, work with the end-user community and translate into technical specifications for development

  • Develop, test and document PeopleSoft upgrades, customizations, enhancements and reports

  • Provide pre- and post-PeopleSoft implementation/upgrade technical support

  • Implement integration between PeopleSoft and other Academy of Art University systems including but not limited to the Learning Management System and Salesforce

  • Train end-users and technical staff as needed



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience

  • 2+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft applications

  • 2+ years of experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, Data Mover, SQR and Query

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases

  • Effective problem solver and troubleshooter

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and with a positive attitude


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft Student Administration and Financials version 9.x. Exposure to Student Administration Integration Pack (SAIP) highly desirable

  • Experience with full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementation

  • Prior experience with Salesforce

  • Ability to integrate data between enterprise systems

  • Experience with PUM and tools upgrades
