The key areas of responsibility include:

This position will work from home temporarily due to COVID-19.

Monthly Financial Reporting

  • Management reporting

  • Balance sheet

  • Income statement

  • Other internal and external reporting


Facilitating Budgets and Projections

  • Maintain and update budget and projection worksheets for all departments

  • Assist in upload of budget and projection ledgers


Completing Necessary Audits

  • Assist activities for the annual audit

  • Assist in special audits as necessary


General Financial Reporting and Monitoring

  • Maintain financial records in accordance with sound accounting fundamentals

  • Prepare and maintain system queries

  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries to the general ledger

  • Coordinate monthly general ledger close: validate completeness of journal entry posting, review preliminary financial statements, prepare and record adjusting entries as necessary

  • Evaluate financial variances, communicate findings and identify issues

  • Address financial inquiries from departments

  • Prepare account reconciliations with documented support: review for appropriate recording

  • Communicate and coordinate with external departments to obtain information on financial transactions, research reconciling items and resolve any issues



  • Bachelor's degree and expertise in GAAP accounting

  • At least five or more years accounting financial analysis experience

  • Intermediate to advanced-level experience with Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Be an innovative thinker, self-starter and team player

  • Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus
