The City of Sunnyvale is recruiting for an Equity, Access, and Inclusion Manager. The City of Sunnyvale has a long history of embracing our community of many backgrounds and beliefs. We pride ourselves in our openness and acceptance for all. The Sunnyvale City Council made equity, access, and inclusion (EAI) a new Council priority in 2021 and funded the City’s EAI initiative. The City seeks an experienced EAI practitioner to help normalize, organize, and operationalize equity in City services. As the EAI Manager, you will help the City identify and tackle systemic barriers to the fair and just access and distribution of City resources with the goal of improving outcomes for our most marginalized community members.
The City of Sunnyvale provides an excellent benefits package, including 4% City-paid Employee PERS contribution and the 2% at 60 retirement plan for Classic employees, a 2% contribution of an employee's gross pay to a deferred compensation plan, and fully employer paid medical, dental, and vision benefits.
