The Senior Marketing Analyst will maximize the University’s marketing resource allocation and revenue objectives through proactive analysis of direct-to-student marketing and admissions programs. This position ensures smart decisions based on data, not assumptions, and ensuring that assumptions are properly tested. The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data, analyzing student performance, and ensuring appropriate adjustments are made to improve marketing, admissions and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
  • Design and implement statistical tests around AAU site and various marketing and Admissions touch points; verify significance and overall impact of website and marketing and Admissions touch points
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates, marketing managers, and other key stakeholders (internal/external) to implement findings and to optimize best practices
  • Collect, consolidate, document and analyze prospect engagement data and provide program recommendations to enhance performance
  • Build the company’s institutional knowledge and unlock new opportunities for growth and ways to operate more effectively
  • Identify key stakeholders, data sources, analytic tool and structure requirements
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and admissions activities
  • Present data in useful, meaningful, accurate ways to channel marketing and admissions team effectiveness and business impact

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Business/Finance/Marketing/Analytics or related field
  • 2 - 3 years experience in Marketing Analytics and/or Direct-to-Consumer campaign optimization
  • Ability to interface with databases and CRM (SalesForce) systems to create, pull and analyze reports and work flows
  • Experience with Tableau is preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand SQL
  • Knowledgeable with Word, Excel, Outlook and online databases
  • Demonstrated skills in Marketing or Finance
  • Must possess the following skills: analytical thinking, project/program planning, creative problem solving, demonstrated leadership abilities, detail-oriented, excellent decision making, negotiation skills, creativity, initiative, confidence, resourcefulness, teamwork, and flexibility.
     

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,800; depending upon location
