Job Description

Coast Personnel Services is hiring for a Quality Engineer as a direct hire with a client that is a  leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. Recognized as a technology leader, provides end-to-end manufacturing solutions, delivering superior quality and support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) primarily in the communications networks, defense and aerospace, industrial and semiconductor systems, medical, multimedia, computing and storage, automotive and clean technology sectors.


  • Drive improvement and corrective action in manufacturing operations by completing product, process, systems, and compliance audits
  • Liaise with core team members to investigate and determine root causes of customer complaints and internal quality issues
  • Attend yield improvement meetings and complete any actions assigned 
  • Participate in PFMEA and Control Plan development
  • Improve and develop ESD and quality awareness throughout manufacturing operations
  • Improve product handling in manufacturing operations and test
  • Data analysis and report writing
  • Any other duties as determined by Management


  • A recognized Auditor Certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality from an accredited college or university, or matching experience
  • Manufacturing Experience preferred
  • Familiar with the requirements of ISO-9001 and TL-9000 Quality Management Systems
  • Minimum Two years’ experience (5 or more preferred) examining (auditing) manufacturing processes and their procedures and various elements in order to ensure their effectiveness
  • Have a strong understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation, and implementation with respect to domestic and international standards or requirements
  • Have a thorough understanding of root cause analysis, problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques

Experience with LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies
