Seeking Full Stack Software Engineers to support our Telecommunications/ Retail Client located in Palo Alto, CA!

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the inventory team, you will grow the system that helps manage the inventory across all of our regions. This includes tools that support our warehouses in their day-to-day operations, enhancing logic around planning inventory movements, and ensuring that we maintain a high level of accuracy. There are many interesting challenges as we intersect software with physical and logistical constraints - there are always fun problems to solve and we work closely with our fulfillment teams to keep a tight feedback loop.

  • Architect and scale applications - with a view towards sustainability, technical debt, and performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, designers, and other engineering activities in designing appropriate solutions and delivering projects
  • Collaborate with the software engineers from other areas to improve the engineering processes and foundations of our codebase
  • Drive requirements to deliver the right product and feature set
  • Cultivate the product, user experience, scalable architecture, and results-oriented metrics and iterations
  • Experiment and challenge the business with new ways to approach problems
  • Own large scale projects - from evaluating options and providing recommendations on scope and level of effort to developing and testing solutions and launching

  • 6+ years of professional design and development experience and 3+ years of experience developing in Ruby
  • Proven experience with designing and developing solutions for highly scalable, complex systems
  • Enjoy white-boarding data models, user interfaces, and workflows with others
  • Value writing tests (test-first even), pairing, and making an impact
  • Comfortable mentoring teams and leading architecture design
  • Excellent communication skills both with an engineering audience as well as business and partner audiences 
  • Thrive in a self-managing, face-paced, bottom-up culture
  • Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view


  • Professional experience using React and GraphQL 
  • eCommerce, logistics, or SAAS industry experience 
  • Lean startup methodology, Agile sprints, A/B testing
  • Redis, sidekiq, postgres or similar technologies 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
