We are looking for a highly motivated Field Application Manager to join our team!

How You’ll Contribute

  • Troubleshoot customer complaints related to chemistry, assay or experimental design, software, instruments, and user workflows
  • Triage and dispatch issues requiring support to Field Service Engineers, Support Engineers and other Applications Scientists
  • Conduct virtual and on-site customer trainings to transfer the latest released methods to customer sites
  • Write, edit and review user facing documentation including User Manuals, White Papers, Knowledge Articles, Field Bulletins
  • Coordinate new installations, including facility inspections and instrument site acceptance plans
  • Identify, recruit, hire and on-board Field Application Scientists
  • Manage and set appropriate product and performance expectations for Field Application Scientists.
  • As a core member of the account team, ensure overall customer satisfaction, identify and share improvement or sales opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • BS/MS/PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or closely related field with extensive lab experience across multiple life science platforms
  • 5-6 Years of FAS experience, management and/or leadership role is required. Minimum 1-2 years of management experience is also required
  • Capable of working independently and working remotely
  • Experience in the development of biomedical or scientific instruments
  • Able to balance long term company goals with short term deliverables
  • Extremely motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team
  • Meticulous and detail oriented. Able to follow complex operating procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with teaching, training, or mentoring others.
