Housing Services Coordinator Supervisor

Location: Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) San Jose
Purpose: The Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) is searching for a Housing Coordinator to join us in our mission to create fully inclusive communities that value the dignity, equality, freedom and worth of every human being. Summary: To supervise with the coordination, direction, and delivery of programs and services in the area of SVILC’s Housing Services, this position provides oversight as well as direct services and develops resources in order to provide Housing referral and advocacy for people with disabilities, including those who are transitioning from a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility to a community-based setting. This is a full-time, non-exempt position at 35 hours/week working out of SVILC’s San Jose office.

Physical Demands:
Sitting for long periods of time
Using computer monitor and keyboards, as well as a telephone headset, for long periods of time
Travel to various community offices as necessary
Make outreach visits to locations where individuals with disabilities may be contacted
Attend various outreach and community education events
Benefits Package:
Hourly Wage Range: $25 - $30/hr. (35-hour workweek)
