The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Staff Office Assistant to perform various complex clerical work. In this role, the successful incumbent will operate diverse office equipment, answer questions from the public regarding assigned function, and performs related work as required under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor. The current vacancy is in the Environmental Services Department, and the eligibility list established from this recruitment may also be used to fill future vacancies in the departments throughout the City.
This position requires graduation from high school or tested equivalent, two years of responsible clerical experience, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. A typing test certificate is required to be submitted with the application. For this recruitment, online or in-person typing test will be accepted.
