The City of Sunnyvale is recruiting for the division head level position of Human Resources Manager to provide leadership and direction for the Employee Benefits Division. The Human Resources Manager will bring a dynamic, service-oriented, and proactive approach to the City of Sunnyvale organization.
Under administrative direction of the Human Resources Director, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the management of the Employee Benefits division including managing benefit programs, counseling employees regarding California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS and other benefits), and administering the HRIS System for all City employee pay and benefits.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in human resources management, industrial/organizational psychology, business administration or a related field; AND
Four years of experience performing professional level human resources work, including two years of experience related to the area of assignment, with some lead or supervisory experience
