The Department of Finance Purchasing Division is looking for a Storekeeper/Buyer to join the Central Stores team. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising a distribution warehouse, have familiarity with the purchasing or procurement process, and be independently motivated to provide excellent customer service to the city while performing daily responsibilities involving the receipt, issuance and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies while also supporting the citywide purchasing process.

Minimum Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:
An Associate degree or 60 semester units or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university in purchasing, accounting, marketing, general business, or other related field, AND One year of buying and/or purchasing experience in a competitive bidding setting and one year of storekeeping experience with some lead or supervisory experience.
OR
High School graduation or tested equivalent, AND Four years of storekeeping experience which included purchasing or procurement responsibilities. Two of the four years of required experience must have been in a lead or supervisory role.
