The City of Sunnyvale is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join the Community Development Department. The Business Systems Analyst coordinates with the Information Technology Department, serving as the liaison between users of the permit management system and information technology staff.  The Analyst will report to the Management Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in databases, testing of software patch updates, quality control of system enhancements, a willingness to continuously learn, and ability to support staff with applications.

 

Under direction of assigned supervisor or manager, provides complex analytical support to the maintenance and/or modification of existing systems and development of new modules/functions in one or more areas/systems in coordination with the Information Technology Department serving as liaison between business users and information technology staff, vendors and service providers; and performs related work as required.
