Position Description: Vocera is seeking a talented and innovative Staff Speech Recognition NLP Engineer to join our team. You will be a key member of the Voice Experience team to
build a state of the art backend for providing voice based natural language interaction to deliver huge value to some the largest hospital care and communications systems. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with a team of passionate machine learning and NLP engineers to design, develop, deploy and maintain advanced semantically aware intelligent system with text and voice recognition capabilities that can understand contextual and non-contextual commands for the healthcare domain. These commands would interpret the context and intent of such utterances and execute the necessary action. You will also be working with a cross functional team to understand Vocera's overall speech system and developing innovative ideas including designing and implementing enhanced speech API's for delivering value added capabilities to Vocera customers.
