Openhouse is seeking a Director of Development with experience and proven success crafting and implementing mulit-dimensional organizational development plans. A successful Director is a proven fundraiser with demonstrated success at working with senior leadership, development committee, planning and executing a major gift program, planned giving, a deep understanding of donor relations, event planning, development analytics and strong verbal and written skills. The Director will lead the Marketing Manager and will be integral in developing marketing campaigns for Openhouse. As part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position will have a direct impact on the organization’s reputation among partners and community members, as well as have a direct impact the financial and operational health of the organization.
Openhouse enables LGBTQ seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing LGBTQ-welcoming housing, high-impact direct services, and innovative community programs. As the initiator of the movement to meet the needs of LGBTQ older adults in San Francisco, Openhouse is a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization on the leading edge of this growing field at the local, state, and national levels. Openhouse believes in manifesting opportunities with, and not just for, LGBTQ+ seniors to build and reconnect with community by providing housing, direct services and community programs.

Benefits:
Openhouse offers a comprehensive compensation and benefit package including vision and dental insurance; generous paid leave; and an enjoyable, vibrant, collaborative and supportive work environment. This position is eligible to participate in a 401(k) first day of the quarter following one year of service with an agency match.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000.
