Villa Siena Foundation is looking for a full time Development Director.  The right candidate's primary responsibility will be to cultivate, solicit and recruit donors with an emphasis on large gifts, both immediate and deferred.

Qualifications:

At least two years of fundraising experience, including major gift planning and solicitation

At least two years experience in grant writing

Excellent communication skills

Creative, Vision and values driven

Compassion for the elderly

Responsibilities

Identify, research, cultivate and solicit planned and major gift prospects, both immediate and deferred

Research potential grant options and submit grants

Build donor base

Maintain database of past and present donors and generate reports as required

Represent Villa Siena in a fundraising capacity at civic and social functions

Maintain current website in order to attract new donors and potential gifts.

Assist with the development and implementation of a strategic plan

Supervise the Development Assistant
