The City of Sunnyvale invites applications for the position of Environmental Programs Manager. This position oversees the implementation of environmental programs which may include services for solid waste management, water pollution prevention, and/or sustainability. This position plans, coordinates, monitors and promotes the City’s environmental programs and services and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff. Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Environmental Science, Social Science, Engineering or a related field; and four years of experience in developing, promoting and operating environmental programs, including some lead or supervisory experience.
