Job Description

Assembly

Assembling metal Seat frames, either back or bottom seat frames. Adding wiring, seat belts, plastic seating parts with screws and bolts, lift and moving up to 25-30 pounds , working in a production line, fast pace environment, MUST work Overtime The purpose of this role is to: • Follow standard processes to ensure the safe and efficient assembly of seating systems. These operations could include assembly or materials picking and delivery. • Actively participate to ensure the standard processes are continuously improved. Qualifications: • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Ability to use various hand tools • Must be willing to and able to work flexible hours and work overtime as required • Must work well in a team environment • Must demonstrate good attendance • Experience Requirements: • Proven experience in a similar role within a high volume manufacturing environment • Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing systems and principles a plus • Proven customer service orientation EHS Requirements: • Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental Standards • Report occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents • Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs repetitively • Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours a day • Ability to work in a physical position which requires frequent lifting, pushing/pulling, grasping, squeezing, bending, reaching, stooping and twisting • May be exposed to marked changes in temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and dust • Manufacturing Environment which requires the use of foot protection

Headliner

The purpose of this role is to: Assembling Headliner panels, using hot glue to attach plastic parts to the Headliner frame so that the wiring and electrical can be attached to feed the overhead lights and speaker. Installing Sun Visors, using hand drill to screw in nuts and bolts to hold items in place. MUST be flexible, able to work overtime. Able to stand for an (8) hour shift and work with their hands. Follow standard processes to ensure the safe and efficient assembly of headliners. These operations could include assembly or materials picking and delivery. · Actively participate to ensure the standard processes are continuously improved. Material Handler/Forklift Driver

Team Member – Material Handler for a manufacturing/assembly plant In Newark, moving automotive seating in Warehouse · Qualifications: · Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English · Ability to work in a fast paced environment · Ability to use various hand tools · Must have valid current forklift certification · Must have basic addition and subtraction mathematical skills · Must be willing to and able to work flexible hours and work overtime as required · Must work well in a team environment · Must demonstrate good attendance · Must have a high school diploma or GED · Must pass background check and drug screen Experience Requirements: · 1-2 years of forklift experience · Proven experience in a similar role within a high volume manufacturing environment · Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing systems and principles a plus · Proven customer service orientation EHS Requirements: · Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental Standards · Report occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents · Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively · Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights · Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours a day · Ability to work in a physical position which requires frequent lifting, pushing/pulling, grasping, squeezing, bending, reaching, stooping and twisting · May be exposed to marked changes in temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and dust · Manufacturing Environment which requires the use of foot protection and eye protection
