Paraplanner & Licensed Assistant This role will provide you with exposure to a wide variety of tasks, as listed below. There is an opportunity for growth and transition to an advisor role. Ideal candidate would have a college degree in finance/ accounting and experience working in professional environment. Securities license is preferred but not required. It is advisable to include one paragraph cover letter why you would like to work with us. Requirements for consideration for the Paraplanner role are: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university CFP coursework is a plus Able to pass FINRA Background Series 7/65 license or coursework toward it is preferred Qualifications Knowledge in financial field Ability to multitask and stay focused Dedication to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills Ability to follow directions and work with minimum supervision; take ownership of assigned tasks, and think for herself/himself Experience: Client service at a financial industry supporting financial advisor for at least 2 years is preferred or recently graduate from a financial planning program. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Financial planning - create reports, data entry into Emoney financial planning system and run scenarios QuickBooks – enter and reconcile accounts, Research financial solutions, stock option analysis, NUA analysis, insurance needs, and any other financial analysis needed for pre-meeting support for Financial Planners Portfolio Administration - Trade processing: placing and confirming trades, rebalancing accounts and updating proprietary investment models Administrative - Process clients related requests and documentations: open new accounts, transfer funds, make appointments, maintain CRM and client files, take client through new client onboarding process Financial planning - create reports, data entry into Emoney financial planning system Marketing - Assist with development and implementation of marketing campaigns, maintain web design content and follow company marketing on demand initiatives Proficiency in the use of computer programs: RedTail, a client relationship management (CRM) system ClientWorks – LPL Financial platform is a desired skill “Emoney Advisor” financial planning software Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT) QuickBooks When applying, please note that you saw the job posted on the NOVA Job Board.
