Although the title will be President, the primary tasks will be related to public relations, not business management (we already have those skills). LoopWorks needs a new public face (not mine) to solve the real barrier to Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) -- political/perception issues. Public presentations and lobbying will be his/her primary activities.
My original thinking was to find someone with experience in leading a company (or two) to success, someone who would not be put off by the lack of an immediate salary. My current thinking is that the President could accept a very limited time commitment to LoopWorks now, and transition to working full time from their current role/job when funding becomes available (which is expected within a year).
