The California Department of Rehabilitation is currently seeking  a Staff Services Analyst - Student Services Coordinator for our San Mateo office.  Under the general supervision of the Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, of the Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Division/Specialized Services Division, the Student Services Coordinator provides a variety of analytical support related to providing, arranging, coordinating, and monitoring DOR Student Services for Potentially Eligible (PE) and eligible students with disabilities, ages 16 through 21.  To best serve eligible students and their families, there are opportunities to partner with Local Education Agencies, Regional Centers, America’s Job Centers, Independent Living Centers, Family Resource Centers, and/or Social Security Administration. Under direct supervision, to provide reasonable accommodation to the known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified disabled applicant or State employee; perform reading services; serve as a messenger; accompany staff members to places of business where services are otherwise unavailable; perform simple clerical services; and to do other related work.
