Job Description: A Waterworks Aquatics Swim Instructor is primarily responsible for teaching Private and Semi-Private swimming lessons to children and adults. Our Instructors are responsible for progressing their students at the quickest rate possible while ensuring that the students are having fun and enjoying themselves in the lessons. The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Housing Specialist to join the Housing Division in the Community Development Department. Under direction of the Housing Officer, the Housing Specialist will play a lead role in the planning and development of new affordable housing, creating new housing programs, preparing and implementing the Housing Element, and monitoring housing legislation. The Housing Specialist will perform technical and professional level planning and community development work, with an emphasis on the Housing Element of the General Plan and the Affordable Housing ordinances of the zoning code. This position will closely collaborate with affordable housing developers, various housing advocacy groups, local non-profits, and the community. The ideal candidate will be a passionate affordable housing professional who is a motivated self-starter able to work independently, while also being a team player who can communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, consultants,...
