The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Housing Specialist to join the Housing Division in the Community Development Department. Under direction of the Housing Officer, the Housing Specialist will play a lead role in the planning and development of new affordable housing, creating new housing programs, preparing and implementing the Housing Element, and monitoring housing legislation. The Housing Specialist will perform technical and professional level planning and community development work, with an emphasis on the Housing Element of the General Plan and the Affordable Housing ordinances of the zoning code. Summary The Event Coordinator and Admin Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director and will be responsible for assisting in managing all events. Ensuring our deadlines and budget requirements are adhered to. Coordinate activities on the day of the event to ensure all participating organization volunteers, bands, performers, staff, and distributors involved with our events, understand the guidelines and responsibilities that need to be followed always.
